a 1986 Ford F150 step side
a local contractor wanted his truck to be rebuilt for his son. His main concern was rust prevention...his son's main concern was HEMI ORANGE!!
 

THIS IS THE WAY I GOT HER. A TYPICAL HUNTING TRUCK COMPLETE WITH CB, GUN RACK AND LOTS OF SHOTGUN SHELLS!!
 
 
 

THE START OF THE REBUILD, TAKE EVERYTHING APART!! YUP, THIS IS THE FUN PART... BLASTED, TREATED, UNDER COATED EVERYWHERE,

STRIPPED, SANDED AND PRIMED!
 
 

AND, SOME OF THE HEMI ORANGE PEARL STARTS, ACTUALLY A BEAUTIFUL COLOR!

herculiner coated bed, with composite boards...no rust!

of course it needed new fab'd bumpers!
  
unfortunatley, I lost the rest of the pics with a computer crash.. but we did add alum rims, that really set it off!!
 this was the first time I painted sherwin williams ultra series base coat/clear coat. it is a superior paint!
